Hi! I'm Dr. Nancy Franklin. I'm a board certified dermatologist, Harvard Medical School graduate, and breast cancer survivor with over 35 years of experience caring for patients with dry and sensitive skin.
Navigating my own health journey gave me a deeper appreciation for how important gentle skincare can be in everyday life.
My experience inspired me to create Rad Remedy, a patent-pending moisturizer formulated for individuals with sensitive skin. Rad Remedy contains plant-based and naturally derived ingredients that have been studied for their role in supporting skin comfort, hydration, and the skin's natural moisture barrier.
How Rad Remedy is Different
As I developed Rad Remedy, I wanted to build on existing skincare approaches by thoughtfully selecting ingredients based on emerging research and their long history of use in skincare. After extensive review of the scientific literature, I chose to include the following ingredients:

Rad Remedy contains calendula oil and calendula CO2 extract. The CO2 extraction process produces a more concentrated extract with a wider range of naturally occuring compounds that account for calendula's skin-calming properties.
Rich in polyphenols, EGCG, a naturally occurring compound found in green tea, has been studied for its ability to help calm the appearance of redness and support the skin's natural moisture barrier.
Ceramide lipids help support the skin's natural moisture barrier and maintain hydration.
Our patent-pending formula features B-silk™, a new silk protein that forms a breathable barrier over the skin, helping to lock in moisture.

I wanted a moisturizer that prioritized both skin comfort and ingredient transparency.
That commitment led me to develop Rad Remedy, a formula free from silicones, petrochemicals, sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, while incorporating innovative ingredients such as B-silk™, a biodegradable silk protein.
We didn't stop with the cream
Rad Remedy is packaged in a tube made of sugarcane, free of phthalates, and bisphenols (like BPA) found in traditional plastics.
My hope is that Rad Remedy brings a sense of comfort and calm to your daily skincare routine.
